*Job Description *

The Manager, Client Services is responsible for managing the critical
aspects of executing AmeriSpeak client studies, offering clients insight
into questionnaire design, study design, and sample based on in-depth
knowledge of the capabilities of the AmeriSpeak panel and meeting and
exceeding expectations of timelines and deliverables to AmeriSpeak clients,
managing AmeriSpeak Client Service Specialists to manage the AmeriSpeak
client projects from start to finish, and coordinating with other internal
teams such as programming and statistics to execute AmeriSpeak studies.
This role is responsible for problem-solving with clients for issues
related to project schedule, quality of deliverables, and budget. The
Manager takes the lead in communications with the client, and works closely
with AmeriSpeak business development to anticipate future problems with the
project and design solutions to deliver the project on schedule and on
budget.

AmeriSpeak is the first US multi-client household panel to combine the
speed and cost-effectiveness of panel surveys with enhanced
representativeness of the US population, an approach designed to achieve an
industry-leading response rate, and an innovative sample quality report
card.

Developed and funded by NORC, AmeriSpeak is the most scientifically
rigorous panel solution available in the US, giving NORC clients a
breakthrough new option for conducting statistical surveys of the
population.

*Responsibilities*

• Ensures that client expectations of timelines and deliverables are met,
or preferably exceeded
• Manages the client relationship in executing AmeriSpeak client studies,
offering clients insight into questionnaire design, study design, and sample
• Provides value-added insights to the client in the areas of questionnaire
design, sampling, data collection methodology, profile data appends,
analysis and reporting, and weighting solutions
• Supervises AmeriSpeak Client Services Specialists to manage the
AmeriSpeak client project from beginning to completion
• Responsible for all aspects of project management in executing AmeriSpeak
projects, including budget management and cost control, quality of
deliverables, and completion of deliverables on schedule
• Coordinates with other internal teams such as AmeriSpeak business
development, programming, and statistics to execute AmeriSpeak studies
• Trains and on-boards new hires in AmeriSpeak processes and procedures for
Client Services positions
• Supports business development workflow for proposal, pricing, and
contracting support for all web survey projects
• Performs other duties as assigned

*Required Skills*

• Bachelor's degree is required, Master's in social science is strongly
preferred
• At least 4 years of survey research experience required, with a minimum 1
year client management experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing and mentoring staff required
• Advanced knowledge of the principles and processes of survey research
• Knowledge of at least one substantive or methodological area
• Quantitative analysis skills, well developed problem solving skills, time
management, personal organization, attention to detail, discretion, and
composure skills
• Advanced communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, identify and mitigate project risks
and work effectively with multiple departments, stakeholders and
internal/external clients
• Ability to work effectively collaboratively with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of general office procedures, technology and equipment
• Advanced ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) at all
levels
• Proficiency with data management in SPSS and/or SAS; Microsoft Office

The Client Services Senior Specialist is responsible for assisting with
critical aspects of executing AmeriSpeak client studies; developing and
maintaining effective customer relationships, supporting account services
as they relate to web panel products including: evaluating client
questionnaires for alterations in question wording and question type needed
to accommodate phone and/or web modes of survey administration, formatting
client questionnaires for programming and managing revisions throughout
testing cycle, performing quality control testing on programmed surveys in
the phone and web modes, ensuring survey data quality through reviewing
simulated data and respondent survey data throughout the field period using
appropriate statistical applications, cleaning and preparing raw data for
weighting and client delivery using appropriate statistical applications
and summarizing information into tables, graphs, and text. This position
exercises independent judgment and discretion with regards to matters of
significance, such as changes to customer’s products.
