Research, Evaluation and Social Solutions, Inc. (REESSI) is actively
seeking the following social science research, methodology and statistics
professionals /consultants for upcoming projects with government and
nongovernment agencies.
*Program and Policy Lead Consultant:* Provide rapid review, abstraction,
analysis, and reporting of current policy and program information and
existing databases. Policy assessments are focused somewhat broadly and
prospectively on emerging issues and changing policy directions. Program
assessments focus more narrowly on current programs in an effort to
understand outcomes, to define issues or to highlight problems and areas
for improvement. These studies ma y be distinctly more management and
impact/outcome oriented. The incumbent will utilize a variety of techniques
to accomplish the full range of assignments, including qualitative and
quantitative methods such as economic models, cost - benefit analysis,
queuing approaches, linear programming, decision analysis, systems
analysis, simulation models, focus groups, in - depth interviewing, and
administrative document review. Required skill s include graduate level
training and professional experience in experimental l and quasi -
experimental social science research design, public policy and program
analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, and report
writing. Experience leading a team in the successful design and
completion of federal policy and program analyses is required.
*Program Evaluation Lead Consultant*: Employ both qualitative and
quantitative program evaluation techniques for rigorous engagements that
measure the effectiveness and efficacy of federal programs. These duties
include efforts to develop evaluation designs as well as to undertake
actual evaluations. Required skills include graduate level training and
professional experience in experimental and quasi - experimental social
science research design (including questionnaire design and testing), all
aspects of formative and summative program/project evaluation. Further,
experience conducting program evaluation using qualitative techniques,
including focus groups, administrative document review, and in - depth
interviewing techniques is required. Experience leading a team in the
successful design and completion of a federal program evaluation project
is required.
