The Pew Research Center currently has three openings for researchers, one in
our Religion & Public Life Project and the other two in the Global Attitudes
Project. Here is a little detail about each of them. Additional detail about

We are seeking a Research Assistant to support the Global Attitudes Project.
The Research Assistant will be primarily responsible for fact-checking and
proof-reading, organizing relevant polling data, and performing research and
analysis as required. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with a
concentration in political science or international affairs, strong
quantitative skills, and experience in internet and other research.

The Global Attitudes Project is also recruiting a Research Associate. The
Research Associate will assist in the design and drafting of poll
questionnaires, create toplines and tables for survey reports, perform
statistical analysis, assist with fact-checking and other aspects of report
production, and help to write and review survey reports. The Research
Associate is also responsible for helping manage projects and fielding
requests for information from the press, government officials and other
target audiences. The ideal candidate has a master's degree (Ph.D.
preferred) in political science, sociology, or other social sciences and
proven experience in undertaking research involving data analysis, including
using SPSS, Excel and other software.

The third position is a Research Associate to support the Religion and
Public Life Project. The Research Associate will be primarily responsible
for quantitative analysis of attitudinal and behavioral survey data as well
as the evaluation and development of survey sampling plans. He or she will
also support all other aspects of the Religion project's international
survey research agenda, including developing questionnaires and creating
toplines. The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in political science, sociology,
or related field, knowledge and interest in international affairs, and
proven experience in undertaking research involving data analysis, including
using SPSS, Stata, Excel and other software.
