The Pew Research Center currently has three openings for researchers, one in<br>
our Religion & Public Life Project and the other two in the Global Attitudes<br>

We are seeking a Research Assistant to support the Global Attitudes Project.<br>
The Research Assistant will be primarily responsible for fact-checking and<br>
proof-reading, organizing relevant polling data, and performing research and<br>
analysis as required. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with a<br>
concentration in political science or international affairs, strong<br>
quantitative skills, and experience in internet and other research.<br>

The Global Attitudes Project is also recruiting a Research Associate. The<br>
Research Associate will assist in the design and drafting of poll<br>
questionnaires, create toplines and tables for survey reports, perform<br>
statistical analysis, assist with fact-checking and other aspects of report<br>
production, and help to write and review survey reports. The Research<br>
Associate is also responsible for helping manage projects and fielding<br>
requests for information from the press, government officials and other<br>
target audiences. The ideal candidate has a master's degree (Ph.D.<br>
preferred) in political science, sociology, or other social sciences and<br>
proven experience in undertaking research involving data analysis, including<br>
using SPSS, Excel and other software.<br>

The third position is a Research Associate to support the Religion and<br>
Public Life Project. The Research Associate will be primarily responsible<br>
for quantitative analysis of attitudinal and behavioral survey data as well<br>
as the evaluation and development of survey sampling plans. He or she will<br>
also support all other aspects of the Religion project's international<br>
survey research agenda, including developing questionnaires and creating<br>
toplines. The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in political science, sociology,<br>
or related field, knowledge and interest in international affairs, and<br>
proven experience in undertaking research involving data analysis, including<br>
using SPSS, Stata, Excel and other software.<br>
