The U.S. Census Bureau is seeking a highly motivated and capable individual to serve
as the Assistant Director for Demographic Programs.

The Demographic Directorate directs Census programs on the United States population
and its characteristics on income, poverty, and housing. The Assistant Director for
Demographic Programs will coordinate the formulation and development of corporate
level plans and programs for the collection, processing, and dissemination of
statistical data from demographic surveys.

In coordination with the Associate Director for Demographic Programs and executive
level division chiefs, the Assistant Director will oversee the work of survey
directors and other senior staff in the conduct of more than 25 reimbursable
surveys, and provide management oversight for demographic program survey operations.
