(CLS), Institute of Education (IOE), University of London.

The post is as Principal Investigator (PI) of the National Child Development
Study (NCDS), the 1958 British birth cohort - one of the three
world-renowned birth cohorts studies managed by the Centre for Longitudinal
Studies (CLS), which is part of the Department of Quantitative Social
Science at the IOE.

Jane Elliott, the Director of CLS and current PI of NCDS, is passing the
baton on the leadership of the study as she will be heading up the new UK
Cohort Resources Facility, CLOSER, that CLS is leading.

The successful candidate will also be a full professor in the Department.

It's a really exciting opportunity to lead a long-running and very
successful multi-disciplinary research resource as the study members move
towards their 60s.
