The UCLA California Center for Population Research (CCPR)
(www.ccpr.ucla.edu <http://www.ccpr.ucla.edu>) is seeking candidates for
a full time tenure-track or tenured position in demography and
population studies. This is an open rank appointment with rank depending
on the candidate’s experience and record. Applicants must have an earned
doctorate in a social science, public policy, public health, demography,
or a related field. The appointment will most likely be made in one of
the major departments represented within CCPR (Community Health
Sciences, Economics, Geography, Public Policy, and Sociology).
Candidates should have a strong and innovative research program,
demonstrate success or potential for obtaining extramural research
funding, and be able to teach population courses. The start date is
negotiable, but preferably Fall 2012. To ensure consideration, submit
application materials by 30 September 2011.
