The Research and Development Division of USDA’s National Agricultural
Statistics Service has two opportunities.



Section Head of Survey Methodology and Technology Section



This section plans, initiates and conducts non-sampling error research to
evaluate the accuracy of the Agency’s operation census and survey programs
and to develop new methods. The staff utilizes cognitive interviewing
techniques to develop efficient data collection instruments. The link to

planning, formulating, developing, and implementing research programs with
specific areas of responsibility. Depending upon the person’s training and
interests, this could include research on sampling, estimation, statistical

geospatial statistics, or geographic information systems (GIS) analytics.
