post-docs at Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Mount Sinai, Penn,
Stanford, and UCSF.

- Managing a variety of day-to-day organizational operations; potential

IT management, fundraising, etc. (assignments tailored to
interest/experience where possible)
- Overseeing program and logistical coordination for fundraising and
convening events
- Some domestic and international travel may be required to attend major
research meetings (including the American Diabetes Association Scientific

multiple facets of the healthcare industry, including clinical care, public
health, nonprofits and other patient groups, drug development and
regulation, medical technologies and mobile health, among others
- Opportunities to meet with international leaders in diabetes medicine
and top business leaders in the healthcare field
- Opportunities to mentor high school students through our Junior STEM
Associate summer enrichment program, aimed at enhancing young women’s
engagement in science and healthcare

waivers granted depending on special circumstances and/or diabetes
knowledge and interest)
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, with proficiency in writing
and editing stressed
- Deep scientific background, strong critical thinking and analytic
skills (research experience is an asset, but is not required)
