*NSF is relocating to Alexandria, VA. In late summer of 2017, NSF will
begin the transition from its current location in Arlington, VA to 2415
Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22314. The new location is adjacent to a
Metro station (Eisenhower Avenue on the Yellow Line) and there is ample
parking in the area. There are several amenities nearby, such as
restaurants, hotels, and shops.*

This position is located in the Directorate of Social, Behavioral &
Economic Sciences (SBE), Division of Social & Economic Sciences (SES). The
position is targeted to a full-performance level of GS-12. NSF's
Directorate for Social, Behavioral, and Economic (SBE) Sciences supports
basic research on people and society. The SBE sciences focus on human
behavior and social organizations and how social, economic, political,
cultural, and environmental forces affect the lives of people from birth to
old age and how people in turn shape those forces.

SBE scientists develop and employ rigorous methods to discover fundamental
principles of human behavior at levels ranging from cells to society, from
neurons to neighborhoods, and across space and time.

We are looking for individuals who have a strong work ethic, excellent oral
and written communication skills, facilitation skills, are technologically
savvy, are creative, have excellent analytical ability and problem solving
