*The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has
openings for two full-time positions in education and human resources*.
Both positions are based at AAAS Headquarters in Washington, DC:  1) *Program
Director, STEM Education Research, Math* (ID 1039). The American
Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) seeks a Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Education Research Fellow to work
with a team in the Education and Human Resources Programs unit on a
community-driven effort to develop and provide resources and online tools
for a community of current and prospective education researchers and
college, faculty and administrators who lead university STEM teacher
education programs to stimulate research and innovation in STEM teacher
preservice education. Applicants should have a demonstrated background in
mathematics education research. 2) *STEM Program Director* (ID 1064).  The
American Association for the Advancement of Science seeks a STEM Program
Director to conceptualize, develop, write, and manage grants for major STEM
education initiatives related to recruitment, retention, and advancement of
racial/ethnic minorities, women, and persons with disabilities in STEM
education and careers. Projects include a career and workforce skills
development conference with 1,000 participants from 300 institutions for
STEM undergraduate and graduate students and faculty and staff. This
position serves as liaison to funders, advisory group, and related AAAS
