for three open positions in the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences,
Prevention and Population Sciences Program (PPSP).  The positions are as
follows:



GENETIC EPIDEMIOLOGIST

The Epidemiology Branch (EB) has an opening for a Health Scientist
Administrator (HSA) to help delineate the contribution of genetic,
functional genomic and other factors at the molecular level in
cardiovascular health and disease.  The team identifies opportunities,
research gaps and needs in the context of emerging systems sciences and big

HIV EPIDEMIOLOGIST

The EB has an opening for an HSA for a new program studying heart, lung,
blood and sleep (HLBS) diseases in HIV populations.  With increased focus
on chronic diseases occurring in persons living with HIV, the incumbent
would participate in design and management of workshops and NHLBI-designed
initiatives, and manage an investigator-initiated grant portfolio.
Collaborative opportunities exist with experts in genomics, cardiovascular

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

PPPS has an opening for an HSA to work at the cutting edge of data sharing
policy, within NHLBI and across NIH, maintaining protections while
leveraging research resources.  Duties include leading a Data Access
Committee managing release and use of HLBS-related phenotypic and genomic
research data.  Training and experience in epidemiology, genomics, and/or
