> The Department of Political Science at Wellesley College invites applications for an open rank tenure-track or tenured (at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level) position in American politics to begin in the academic year 2017-18.

> We are seeking candidates with expertise in the politics of race and ethnicity, minority politics, immigration politics, or urban politics in the United States. We are particularly interested in applicants who can teach introductory quantitative methods to undergraduates. The person hired will also be expected to teach our introductory course in American politics.

Junior applicants should also include a graduate transcript and three letters of reference. Senior applicants should provide the names of three potential references who will only be asked to write on their behalf if their candidacy for the position moves beyond the preliminary stage.
