I am a professor of Political Science at Brooklyn College and the Graduate
Center of the City University of New York (CUNY).  I’m writing to you as
chair of the Migration and Citizen section of APSA because we have a
two-year visiting professor position, and are particularly interested in
bringing in a specialist on migration, since it is a major concern and
focus of study among our student body, as well as a focus of both our
comparative undergraduate and graduate curriculum.  As a highly diverse
urban campus, we think that both our students and the visiting professor
would greatly benefit.
