Staff Associate/Data Analyst Position -- The National Center for Disaster
Preparedness at the Earth Institute, Columbia University seeks a Staff
Associate to provide research assistance to the Director of Research. The
Staff Associate will provide research assistance to research faculty
examining the human health and social impacts of disasters and will assist
in analyzing and estimating geographical and institutional vulnerabilities,
resilience and readiness for complex emergencies and disasters. The Staff
Associate will provide research support in the areas of survey data
analysis, data collection, compilation and preliminary analysis. The Center
seeks someone with exceptional data management and analysis skills, and
experience in the fields of social science, public health, or biomedical
research. In particular, the Center is seeking a Staff Associate familiar
with sampling techniques, survey data analysis, observational cohort
designs, longitudinal data analysis, and expertise in Structural Equation
Modeling, propensity score modeling, categorical data analyses, and latent
growth curve analyses.   See more at:
