*RESEARCH ASSOCIATE *

Walter R. McDonald & Associates, Inc. (WRMA) is a leading provider of
consulting services to human services agencies and organizations. With
offices  in Sacramento, California, and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan
area,  WRMA,  Inc. applies advanced technology and consulting to better the
lives of children  and families, advance public policy, and improve the
management of social  services agencies.

WRMA has an immediate opening in its Sacramento, California office for a
Research Associate to contribute to several projects that provide support
to local  and national human services initiatives.

*Responsibilities*

• Conducting quantitative research and data analysis

• Maintaining and manipulating datasets

• Designing and maitaining SPPS and Microsoft Excel data sets

• Managaing the logistics of survey administration

• Creating graphs and tables for reports

• Drafting and reviewing sections of reports

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

*Skills & Qualifications*

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human
Development, Statistics, or related field

• Knowledge of social science research and evaluation

• 1 - 3 years of applied research and quantitative analysis experience

• Knowledge of SPSS or other statistical software packages

• Experience with data editing, data quality assurance, statistical
programming, and data management

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications

• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with a wide
range of audiences
