There are several research positions in reproductive health -- a research
positions at UCSF’s ANSIRH Program(see below and attached), one faculty
position at UC Irvine (see attached), several research positions at the
Guttmacher Institute (see below).



ANSIRH



Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH) conducts
cutting-edge social science research about reproductive health and abortion
care, including studies to examine the impact of abortion restrictions on
women’s lives. ANSIRH seeks a Research Analyst to manage and analyze
abortion data from the California Medi-Cal program, as well as data from
studies for the Evaluation of Abortion Restrictions project, the
Reproductive Empowerment project, and other studies to be assigned.


Under the general supervision of the Project Director and Principal
Investigator, the Analyst will assist in developing analysis plans, manage,
clean and analyze project data; develop tables for manuscripts, draft
methods and research results for manuscripts, participate in the
dissemination of research findings via manuscripts and presentations, and
provide other research/project support as needed. The Analyst will work
within a multi-disciplinary team and will contribute to other research
projects as needed.

Position requirements include experience with research design,
implementation, and analysis.



*Required qualifications:*

-Master’s Degree in public health, social sciences, or similar field
-1-2 years of experience working in public health and family planning
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and
PowerPoint
-Training in quantitative research methods
-Demonstrated ability to clean, code and analyze data in STATA statistical
software
-Familiarity with IRB guidelines, HIPAA, and data security
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize tasks
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Strong statistical analysis, STATA, database management, writing,
information technology



*Preferred Qualifications:*

-2 years of experience working in research, preferably reproductive health
-Understanding of clinical practice, specifically in a reproductive health
setting
-Experience with UCSF policies and procedures and research administration,
including UCSF CHR, MyResearch and RedCap

The Guttmacher Institute is currently hiring for several positions in the
research division.  We are seeking:



- A senior research associate with a domestic focus (doctoral-level
position)

- A senior research associate with an international focus (doctoral-level)

- Two research assistants (bachelor’s-level)
