The Episcopal Health Foundation, a new foundation based in Houston that is
focused on engaging a social transformation approach to philanthropy, has
three job opportunities located in the Impact Division:

· The *Evaluation Officer *will be focused on developing metrics
and evaluation processes for the Foundation’s work—we want to make a
difference, and we want to be able to track progress and improve how we
allocate resources;

· The *Learning Officer* will be focused on identifying capacity
development needs and supporting training for technical and social change
processes to advance community health with Foundation grantees and
partners, building such initiatives into the Foundation's work plans and
grant-making cycles, and strengthening internal organizational
effectiveness;

· The *Diocesan Liaison* will be focused on working with the
leadership of the Episcopal Church in Texas and strengthening the impact of
over 1,400 community outreach congregational ministries located within the
57 counties of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas to support community health.

There are different combinations of training and skills required—experience
working with indicators related to health and social transformation,
community organizing, quantitative and qualitative analysis, adult learning
techniques, Spanish skills, etc. Specific information on requirements for
each position can be found at www.episcopalhealth.org/career-opportunities.

The Impact Division, as with the broader Foundation, will work as a team
with significant interconnection of work among the roles. The Foundation
seeks significant progress toward healthy communities within the Episcopal
Diocese of Texas—which stretches from Austin to the Northeast corner of
Texas and down to Matagorda on the Southeastern coast—and recognizes that
this will require ways of working that often have not been tried in Texas,
at least not on a large scale. EHF's three goals are to create a strong
health system, empowered communities, and an engaged Diocese of Texas.
Texas in general, and East Texas in particular have some of the worst
health outcomes and health disparities in the country. We need a creative,
energetic, thoughtful team that can keep their eye on the prize throughout
this journey.

*Please feel free to circulate information on these job opportunities.* All
of the positions require at least 5 years of experience in the field, and
applicants with more experience than the minimum are strongly encouraged to
apply. The Foundation offers highly competitive salaries based on
experience level, with good benefits. *Deadline for applications is
September 12. *Go to www.episcopalhealth.org/career-opportunities for more
information and instructions for applying.
