  Sonoma State University's Women's and Gender Studies Department needs to
make an emergency hire for a part-time lecturer for Fall 2014. The semester
begins August 18.


WGS 350.1: Gender, Sexuality and Family, Fridays, 8:00-11:40 AM (4 units)



This course is our Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies course.
Course description: An exploration of changing ideals and practices of
gender, sexuality and family life in the United States, drawing especially
on recent feminist scholarship. We have a set assigned textbook and the
instructor can either utilize an existing departmental syllabus or generate
their own using the same textbook and a self-designed course reader. Topics
for reading and discussion will focus on both women and men.



Salary commensurate with experience.
