Great job opportunity at Stanford

The Clayman Institute seeks to hire a research associate to help with a new
focus on advancing women’s leadership.  This is a two year position after
which time there may be an opportunity to extend the position.  Ph.D. in
sociology or related field required.  The ideal candidate will have a
background in or familiarity with the following areas – gender, women’s
leadership, organizational behavior, work and family.  The candidate should
have experience teaching and be interested in helping design courses on
these topics – including creating reading lists, and coming up with
innovative course projects.  The candidate should have the ability to
design and implement a longitudinal study, and have a background in both
quantitative and qualitative research methods.  This position does not
involve direct classroom teaching responsibilities, though an opportunity
to teach may arise.

Compensation will be based on experience and university guidelines.

statement of teaching philosophy and experience, and evidence of teaching
excellence.
