*The Economic Roundtable** *






For more than 20 years, the Economic Roundtable has produced innovative
research to strengthen communities and institutions through clear,
objective analyses that are credible and operationally relevant for public
action.  To support its continuing growth the Roundtable is seeking a
talented Executive Director, with demonstrated commitment to building
fairer, more sustainable communities through public policy research and
stakeholder engagement.





Current projects address:

* *

*Homelessness: c*hildhood antecedents of chronic homelessness, integrating
health care and housing, and linking public records to inform and
strengthen programs.

* *

*Environmental Sustainability: *Integrating environmental, job and wage
data to identify sustainable growth options within the carrying capacity of
the regional environment.

 *Working Poor: *economic impacts of a regional living wage and effects of
informal employers on the economy.



*Housing*: financing mechanisms for affordable housing and residential
displacement.



The new Executive Director will build on decades of success and take the
Roundtable to the next level by creating broader alliances with information
users, regional policy makers, communities, and institutions.  Through
effective communication strategies, the Director will consolidate
stakeholder support and broaden funding.  The position requires proven
management skills and the ability to conceptualize creative and strategic
approaches to making research visible to policy makers.*  *Information
