We have positions for survey researchers in our Washington, DC and Oakland,
CA offices. As a survey researcher, you would join our staff of survey
research professionals, which includes doctoral and master's-level
researchers in survey methodology, behavioral or social sciences, public
policy, and public health.

Survey Researcher

Duties of the position:

.             Design questionnaires, provide questionnaire development
specifications, and design pretests
.             Handle budget preparation and cost analyses
.             Direct or manage survey teams, including preparation of
interviewer training protocols, and implementation of sample designs and
data collection procedures
.             Prepare proposal text and budgets
.             Perform analysis for methodological studies
.             Participate in study design
.             Write professional reports on survey research activities
suitable for publication or dissemination

Qualifications:
.             Advanced degree in the behavior sciences, developmental
specialties, social sciences, statistics, or a related field (or an
equivalent combination of education and experience)
.             Extensive knowledge of survey research methods
.             Ability to design large, complex and multi-mode surveys
.             Experience directing large- and small-scale data collection
efforts
.             Strong management and business development skills
.             Excellent communication skills
.             French or Spanish language fluency a plus
