The University of Texas Medical Branch, Sealy Center on Aging, is currently seeking
a Senior Biostatistician. Required areas of expertise includes multilevel modeling,
time series analysis, longitudinal data analysis, and management and analysis of
health insurance claim data. Good communication and presentation skills are
essential. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in SAS including
SAS IML, and MARCO, and with experience using ML wiN, HLM, or Winbug. Preferred
requirements are a Ph.D. or Dr.PH in Biostatistics. The Senior Biostatistician will
interact with a number of well-funded investigators conducting comparative
effectiveness research. He or she will also work with and help mentor pre and
post-doctoral students in their analyses. The ideal candidate would be eligible for
an academic appointment at an Assistant or Associate Professor level.
