DATA ANALYST POSITION:

General
Apply your strong analytical skills and knowledge of demographics on the
team responsible for small area demographic forecasts and consumer
intelligence.

Responsibilities
• Update decennial census databases for small areas
• Integrate new data sources and develop new models using statistical
techniques such as multivariate or logistic regression, mixed modeling, or
time series analysis
• Analyze demographic, economic, and consumer trends
• Write data notes, articles, and white papers on data development methods
and trends
• Support other development teams that integrate demographic data in GIS
products
• Support Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service

Requirements
• Bachelor’s or master’s with equivalent experience in demography,
sociology, economics, geography, or related field, depending on position
level
• Two to five years of experience working with demographic data
• Two to five years of experience with SAS
• Excellent team skills
• Ability to apply statistical principles in the area of demographic,
geodemographic, or economic analysis
• Excellent communication and good organizational skills
• Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks

Recommended Qualifications
• Experience with ArcGIS
