Subject: NIA Postdoc Opening at RAND

Dear Colleagues,

As you may know, RAND has an NIA-funded postdoctoral training program in Aging,
which I now direct.
We have an unexpected opening for this coming academic year, starting as early
as this June (one of
our post docs is leaving suddenly for family reasons).  Please let me know if
you have any suitable
students who the regular market might have missed. We also take early-career
assistant professors
(e.g., Heather Royer from UCSB is finishing up her term and will be replaced by
Alan Barreca from
Tulane).  Applications should be sent directly to me as soon as possible and
should include a CV,
cover letter with a statement of research goals for while in the program, a
paper, and a
recommendation letter/email from a reference (e.g., one of you).  Post doctoral
fellows can stay for
either 1- or 2-year terms, and the program is located at RAND headquarters in
sunny Santa Monica.
More information about the program is at
http://www.rand.org/labor/fellows/aging.html.

Thanks!

Nicole
