The last person was a PHD in economics, NOT education, and I think what
matters most is technical/ math chops (not education theory), so it
might be a good fit for either Demog Masters/ PHD's or the various
related people who come through the department.

OFM Forecasting is a great place to work, and Olympia is quite scenic
and affordable with great schools for kids, an hour from Seattle.  The
best part is that the candidate would get to sit about 40 feet away from
me! ;)

The salary is about 70k, and they can probably hire at the max for the
right candidate (but don't quote me).
