A job posting for Brookings, below. It is not necessarily about
immigration, but Brookings is very interested in the topic, and Audrey
Singer does important work on immigration/ metro studies.

Subject: seeking candidates for new position at Brookings Metro

Dear colleagues -

With apologies for the mass email, I wanted to inform you of a new position
we're creating at the Brookings Metro Program for which you may know
qualified candidates. The Data Manager/Senior Research Analyst will be
responsible for managing data on a program-wide basis (serving 25-30
research staff), and developing strategies and tools to enable consistent
analysis of these data for internal research projects, and for our external
audience to "see" data for their places and issues of concern through
interactive applications.

The full job description (link below) lays all this out in detail, but in
short, we are looking for a serious data jock with a few years of
post-academic experience, excellent communications and project management
skills, and a real interest in regional U.S. economic and social phenomena
and their implications for public policy. I'm hoping you might have run
across someone approximating this description and can share the
announcement, and/or wouldn't mind forwarding this email on to others who
might know that sort of person.

Thanks very much,

Audrey
