University of Georgia - Quantitative Scientist


The Center for Family Research (CFR) at the University of Georgia invites
applications for the position of Quantitative Scientist. This individual will
participate in the activities of the data analysis and data management unit at CFR,
and work with Drs. Frederick Gibbons, Meg Gerrard, and Ronald Simons on the Family
and Community Health Study (FACHS). Candidates must have a thorough grasp of basic
and advanced multivariate analyses as well as basic psychometric theory and
analysis. Those who are facile with the application of SEM, HLM, Latent Growth
Modeling, and Growth Mixture Modeling to longitudinal, epidemiological, and
randomized prevention trial data sets are preferred. Candidates should be
comfortable managing data with ACCESS databases and documentation and organization
of variables in large, multi-wave studies.

with specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy in Blacksburg, Virginia.
