the COVID-19 pandemic. Details below.

We have created a google document for research ideas, at whatever stage of
development they might be. Please feel free to enter your ideas here

The Berkeley Population Center (BPC), Center on the Economics and
Demography of Aging (CEDA) and the School of Public Health invite you to a
1-hour open brainstorming session on research ideas related to the covid-19
pandemic. E.g., topics could include population-level determinants,
prevention, and mitigation of pandemic spread; modeling and estimation of
health, social, and economic implications, etc. There will not be a formal
presentation, but rather this will be an open brainstorming discussion
moderated by Will Dow and Josh Goldstein. If you know in advance that you
have a specific research area that you would like to discuss during the
session, please contact Will Dow at wdow at berkeley.edu. Also contact him or
Leora Lawton llawton at berkeley.edu if you have an idea for a pilot project;
NIH and NSF are encouraging covid-19 related proposals, and BPC will be
issuing a small pilot grant announcement shortly for topics related to the
covid-19 pandemic.
