<p class="gmail-msonormal"><span style="color:rgb(13,13,13)">UNI's Center for Social
and Behavioral Research (CSBR) seeks applicants for the position of Assistant
Director / Assistant Professor. The Assistant Director will provide leadership
on all issues of applied research methods including quantitative surveys
(sampling, questionnaire design, data collection, data analysis), qualitative
methods (develop and conduct in-depth interviews, focus groups, program and
project evaluations), report development and presentation of findings to
clients and stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include assisting
internal and external clients in design and implementation of applied research
projects including conducting literature reviews, designing descriptive and
quasi-experimental research, designing and managing project timelines,
developing new research projects and writing proposals for federal, private,
and state funding, preparing and managing project budgets, producing technical
reports and scholarly manuscripts for publication, and supervising CSBR staff
and student employees; building and maintaining overall academic record of
teaching, research, and service that meets tenure and/or promotion standards
within home department (Applied Human Sciences, Geography, Political Science,
Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminology); teaching
two courses per year (one per semester) in social/behavioral research methods,
statistics, survey design, qualitative methods, data science, opinion polling,
or other discipline-specific area specialties; and building or maintaining a record
of scholarship (including work conducted through CSBR), contribute to the life
of the academic department, and advise and supervise students commensurate with
the effort distribution of the joint appointment.</span><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"><span></span></span></p>

given to candidates with training and / or experience in qualitative methods
