WHO Centre for Health Development (WHO Kobe Centre-WKC) is a
global centre for excellence conducting multi-disciplinary
research on the consequences of social, economic, and
environmental change and its implications for health
policies The objective of WKC is to carry out research,
generate and synthesize evidence, and foster
cross-disciplinary, innovative solutions and translate them
into policies and actions to help countries achieve
sustainable Universal Health Coverage (UHC),emphasizing the
impact of rapidly ageing populations. WKC's conducts
implementation and intervention research and develops
innovative solutions to produce and disseminate evidence,
including through scientific publications. The Centre
contributes to the creation, synthesis and uptake of global
knowledge and policy/programme option evelopment. WKC
strongly relies on working in collaboration with
researchers, academics, practitioners, WHO departments and
offices, and other stakeholders. Whereas WKC is a global
centre, it also acts as an important reference, source
information, and documentation of lessons learned in
cooperation with local and national decision-makers in Japan
and the public.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

in a particular duty station, and currently amounts to USD
4633 per month for the duty station indicated above. Other
benefits include 30 days of annual leave, allowances for
