We invite applicants who have graduate training in their field <b>and</b> work in the non-governmental and intergovernmental sectors related to forced migration (in Canada or abroad) and would like to be a scholar in residence for one year to submit their applications by July 1, 2017 to the CRS Director. <br><br>Junior and senior applicants are welcome to apply, but each should be able to demonstrate at least 5 years of sector/community-based work as a researcher or practitioner in a field related to forced migration, asylum/refugee settlement, environmental displacement or humanitarian response. The Visiting Scholar of Practice position is intended to provide a space to share experience, network with other scholars, and participate in the life of the Centre. <br><br>CRS offers shared work space, library access, ongoing affiliation with CRS, an opportunity to present your work through the CRS seminar series and in undergraduate and graduate classrooms, and contact with other scholars within York University working in the related fields. CRS does not have funds for a stipend or honorarium.
