<p style="margin:2.25pt 0in 7.5pt;line-height:13.15pt;vertical-align:baseline;outline:0px"><span style="font-size:9.5pt;font-family:arial,sans-serif">No Lean Season is a
program led by Evidence Action and implemented by RDRS Bangladesh that provides
travel subsidies to rural poor households to look for temporary job
opportunities in urban areas during the lean season, when few wage-earning
opportunities are available locally. Several rounds of research have
demonstrated the benefits of seasonal migration on improving income levels and
food security. Evidence Action is now in the process of scaling up the
intervention to reach hundreds of thousands of recipients in Bangladesh and
beyond over the next few years. This includes improving understanding of ‘what
works’ in implementing the program, what it really costs, what the constraints
are in moving towards further scale -- pieces of information that will be
compiled in a program delivery toolkit to be implemented at scale in subsequent

● At least 5 years of experience conducting qualitative research in relevant
research projects. <br>
● Social and cultural understanding of Northern Bangladesh, as demonstrated by
significant time spent working with the rural poor in the region. <br>
● Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with different
international and local audiences. <br>
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to details. <br>
● Fluency in Bengali and English. <br>
● An academic background in social science, international development,
