Public Health, Health Policy and Management Department's Center for Health
Policy is currently seeking applicants for the position of Public Health
Research Analyst. The Public Health Research Analyst will serve as an applied
researcher in one or more technical areas utilizing their research experience
and providing technical assistance to carry out assigned research projects. <br>
<br>
Project activities may include: <br>
<br>
*Conducting intensive field data collection, organizing logistics of data
collection and respondent meetings, moderating interviews or focus groups,
disseminating study results, and/or managing subject reimbursements and
incentives. <br>
<br>
*Writing reports based on this research and liaison with sponsors, partners
and research respondents involved in the research projects / contract
activities. <br>
<br>
*Conducting project management activities, such as developing project plans,
timelines, stakeholder analysis, risk management procedures and operation
manuals. Also participating in the preparation of research proposals
including IRB protocols. <br>
<br>
*Supervising student research assistants. <br>
<br>
*Representing the Department of Health Policy and Management at regional and
statewide meetings including presentations / trainings / workshops to
regional and statewide groups; occasionally facilitating meetings and
roundtable discussions. <br>
<br>
To be successful candidates should have excellent writing skills; have the
ability to work well with others. Should be able to take suggestions from
others and follow-up to complete assignments. </span></p>

Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution with at
least one (1) year of experience. Experience with application of qualitative
and quantitative research methods. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook or similar products. Knowledge of
videoconference and teleconference software as well as knowledge of HIPAA,
data security and privacy. Must have a valid driver’s license. <br>
<br>
Prefer knowledge of project management, budgets / project accounting, and
clinical practice operations. </span></p>
