<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif";font-size:14pt">The Center for Health and Community will house the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation National Program Office for the Investigator-Initiated Research Program on the
Culture of Health. We are seeking a Deputy Director to play a senior management role in this multi-year national grant-making initiative.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif";font-size:14pt"> The National Program Office will have three major activities: reaching out to researchers to attract high quality grant proposals related to the initiative’s
goals of a national “culture of health”, implementing a system of rigorous peer review, and ensuring that research findings are useful and accessible to the stakeholders. The Deputy Director manages day-to-day program operations, supervises program staff and
participates in developing and implementing the program's strategy, policies, budgets, work, and communications plans.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif";font-size:14pt"> We seek an individual with exceptional organizational and administrative skills and a strong scientific background in health research and population health
determinants, who can assure effective operations and play a substantive role in representing the program to potential grantees, the Foundation, and others. Key elements of the position include: development of a grant database, overseeing grant reviews, grants
management and monitoring, coordinating the National Panel of Advisors and Reviewers, and providing technical assistance to grantee sites.
