Located in the <a href="http://dpcpsi.nih.gov/" target="_blank">Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives</a> within the Office of the Director, ODP’s mission is to improve public health by increasing the scope, quality, dissemination, and impact of prevention research supported by the NIH. The <a href="https://prevention.nih.gov/about/strategic-plan" target="_blank">ODP Strategic Plan</a> outlines a variety of activities designed to address the mission of the office.
