Education Association (CEA) is hiring for a newly created Director of Data
Analysis position. CEA is the state affiliate of the National Education
Association (NEA). CEA is one of the largest membership organizations in
Colorado representing 40,000 teachers, education support professionals, students
and retirees throughout the state. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious

<br><br>This position will have responsibility for overseeing and administering
internal databases; evaluating products, services and vendors to improve data
efficiency and usage within the organization; provide guidance, training and
support to CEA Management and Staff as it relates to the use of data for
measuring organizational performance and strategic planning; and coordinate the
development and execution of Association polling, surveys and focus groups; and
oversee external research partnerships and all other data collection activities.
<br><br>Minimum Qualifications Required <br><br>--Bachelor’s degree with a major
in mathematics, engineering, physical or materials science, economics or similar
field with demonstrated experience in both quantitative and qualitative
research. <br>--Proficiency and experience in data management including ability
to create maintain and analyze databases. <br>--Moderate financial/accounting
literacy with experience analyzing organizational or corporate budgets/audits
and/or managing financial data sets. <br>--Demonstrated high computer
proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite as well as web-based software,
data basing software, and other proprietary software systems. <br>--Technical
expertise regarding data models, database design and development, data mining
and segmentation techniques. <br>--Knowledge of statistics and experience using
statistical software packages for analyzing large datasets (i.e. STATA, R, SPSS,
SAS, SQL, etc.). <br>--Analytical skills to collect, store, organize, analyze,
and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail,
accuracy and strategic importance. <br>--Experience in developing and managing
collaborative research projects. <br><br>Additional Qualifications Desired
<br><br>--Master’s Degree in science, economics or equivalent discipline
preferred. <br><br>Compensation and Benefits <br><br>This is a bargaining unit
position with a salary range of $67,543 to $122,253 based upon prior experience.
Fringe benefits include auto allowance; liberal vacation and sick leave;
holidays; health, dental, disability, and life insurance; defined contribution
