production tasks, producing data files, and disseminating results.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is seeking a senior level
statistician to serve in the Division of Health and Nutrition Examination
Survey’s Office of the Director. The Division is responsible for the National
Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys (NHANES) Program. NHANES collects
information on health and dietary intake and uses mobile examining units to
obtain extensive data based on direct physical measures and laboratory tests
from a nationally representative sample.</p>

an expert advisor and consultant on the NHANES sample design as well as NHANES
survey research and methods studies. You will advise the Division and NCHS
leadership on the statistical issues involved in collecting, producing, and
analyzing health and nutrition examination survey data, which are critical to
formulating national policies and program initiatives. You will lead research
projects involving the use of modeling and other mathematical techniques for the
analysis of statistical data. You will provide technical leadership to staff in
the conduct of research and the development of research findings. You will
provide advice and guidelines on disclosure avoidance techniques, and options
for maintaining confidentiality of restricted survey data while at the same time
providing analytic files to the public.</span></p>
