Although there is only one position vacant at this time, we expect additional retirements in the next year. The hiring process in California consists of two parts: establishing eligibility, which in this case is determined by an application and a training and experience questionnaire, followed by hiring interviews. The announcement covers two levels, the Research Program Specialist II (Demography) and Research Program Specialist III (Demography).
