serves as a catalyst for American Indian education and policy initiatives,
facilitating the development of new programs, services, and research
opportunities at UWM related to American Indians in partnership with the
American Indian community. The institute is charged with carrying out a
comprehensive agenda for American Indian programming at UWM. The Institute is
led by Dr. David Beaulieu (White Earth Chippewa) a professor of education
policy in UWM’s school of education.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

supervision, this position assists Institute staff and faculty research
associates as the Institute develops, conducts, and coordinates grants and
programs sponsored by non-profit organizations, foundations, and units of
local, state, federal, and Tribal governments. The person in this position will
apply research skill and knowledge of American Indian education to design and
implement research, service, and training programs, coordinate programs, and
prepare high quality reports.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

to manage multiple tasks to bring projects from beginning to completion on time
