I'm working with an author to adapt a peer-reviewed research article on race and socioeconomic status gradients in life expectancy in CA for an edited policy research volume on retirement security. We may need grad student assistance to pull together a straightforward lit review highlighting key findings in 1) increasing average life expectancy <u><i>at retirement age</i></u> in the US and 2) race and class/socioeconomic status disparities in life expectancy. S/he may be employed through the Labor Center or contracted through a third party nonprofit research center.
