PSB GRADUATE-LEVEL INTERNSHIP



PSB is currently looking for a graduate-level intern to join our growing
Federal Marketing team for the upcoming summer in our Washington, DC
office.



The ideal candidate will have a general interest in applied research and
will be a creative thinker ready to solve tangible communications
challenges through research. MUST be enrolled in a Masters or PhD program
and able to work approximately 40 hours per week onsite in DC throughout
the summer. The summer internship program will run from June through
August, with the possibility to stay on part-time for the fall semester.



Candidates should display strong writing and communication skills,
attention to detail, commitment to quality, superior analytical
capabilities, and creative thinking. Candidates should also have experience
with quantitative and/or qualitative social science research. The intern
will work alongside PSB’s Federal Marketing team (and its advertising
agency partners) to execute and apply quantitative and qualitative research
for federal government clients and related campaign efforts.



This is a paid internship, with compensation starting at $20/hour
commensurate with experience.



QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be currently enrolled in a social science graduate-level program
(e.g., Psychology, Communication, Political Science, Anthropology, Public
Health, or related field)

- Must have a bachelor’s degree

- Must be able to work approximately 40 hours a week from June through
August (start and end date negotiable)

- Enthusiastic about applied research and human behavior

- Hard-working, detail oriented, creative, comfortable working with
numbers, and eager to learn

- Must have experience implementing quantitative and/or qualitative research

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required

- Experience with a statistical analysis software package preferred (e.g.,
SPSS, SAS, Stata)

- Experience with NVivo not required, but a plus
