Immediate opening for a graduate student researcher to work on a study of
health and aging in Cuba, within a population-based framework. The
short-term goal of the project is to explore the quality and availability
of existing data, ranging from Cuban census material to a variety of
completed surveys conducted by local and international teams, in order to
propose hypotheses amenable to more extensive study in the context of a
potential larger grant. Preference for candidates able to devote 25% to
50% time to the work this Spring semester, with continuation into the
summer 2018 of up to 100% time (negotiable). To apply or for further
information, contact Liz Vasile (evasile at berkeley.edu), in the Center on
the Economics and Demography of Aging (CEDA).
