*Position Summary*

The Michigan State University Division of Public Health is seeking a
project administrator for their CDC-funded grant to establish a Flint Lead
Exposure Registry. The Assessment Project Administrator will oversee
documentation of the registry recruitment, enrollment, and follow-up plan;
draft study protocols and training materials for staff; develop data
quality metrics; prepare enrollment metrics and reports; assist with hiring
survey staff; lead staff meetings; and attend meetings, manage agendas, and
prepare minutes for the assessments workgroup. In Year 1, a large focus
will be managing the team who selects baseline and follow-up assessments
for all potential participants (children and adults), developing protocols
and training materials for those assessments, and the organization of
bi-weekly Assessment Workgroup Meetings. The Assessment Project
Administrator will work closely with Dr. Nicole Jones (
Nicole.Jones at hc.msu.edu), Registry Director, and Dr. Kaja LeWinn,
assessment Workgroup Lead, and provide support as needed for assessment
workgroup members. This is an off-date position funded for one year from
date of hire with possible extension contingent upon funding renewal.

*Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills*

Knowledge equivalent to that which would normally be acquired in a four
year college degree; three to five years of related and progressively more
expansive work experience in a field related to the position including
planning and managing projects; communications content management (written,
verbal, digital) experience with word processing, database, spreadsheet,
presentation, calendaring software, desktop publishing and/or project
management software; or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.

*Desired Qualifications*

Master's Degree in project management, epidemiology, psychology, education
or related field is preferred; excellent communication skills and attention
to detail; organized and a self-starter; adept at working in large,
interdisciplinary teams; two or more years of project
management experience; protocol and training manual development experience;
experience training staff, applied research experience; experience with
analyzing data; prior experience with managing complex projects; experience
with conducting surveys or other measurements with children and/or adults.
