*University of California Irvine (UCI) Post-Doctoral
Position-Interdisciplinary Biobehavioral Research on Adolescents*

The Department of Psychology and Social Behavior (PI: Kate Ryan Kuhlman,
PhD) and the Department of Psychiatry & Human Behavior (PI: Uma Rao, MD) at
the University of California at Irvine (UCI) are recruiting applicants for
a postdoctoral scholar position. The successful applicant will have the
opportunity to play a key role on multiple NIH-funded inter-disciplinary
research projects in adolescent samples.

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*

·         PhD in clinical psychology or related field with experience and
interest in mood disorders and/or obesity in youth

·         Knowledge of child and adolescent development, and experience in
evaluating latency-age children and/or adolescents is necessary

·         Training/proficiency in semi-structured diagnostic interviews
with youth and their families

·         Strong organizational skills



*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

·         A record of research productivity and publications

·         Advanced statistical methods in psychological/social sciences



*APPOINTMENT TERMS*

This is a full-time, 12-month, annually renewable position. Salary will be
commensurate with experience, and will be consistent with UCI post-doctoral
stipends. The start date is flexible. We expect a two-year commitment; an
extension past this period is possible for up to 5 years total.
