The Department of Sociology invites applications for the post of Research
Assistant Professor. Preference will be given to those who have strong
research interest in migration studies.

Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in sociology; (ii)  good potential
for scholarly publications and research; and (iii) proven ability of
effective teaching.

Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years
initially commencing August 2018, renewable subject to performance, funding
and mutual agreement.
