The successful candidate will have a track record of research directly
relevant to public health and/or health services, with potential for
shaping the future of those fields. The specific methodological or applied
areas of interest within public health data science and health information
technology are not restricted. These may include (but are not restricted
to) expertise in algorithms, big data analytics, clinical decision support,
electronic health records, exposomics, genomics, health informatics,
interoperability, machine learning, mHealth, networks, precision health and
medicine, privacy, and related areas. The School of Public Health at UC

*Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator, Center for Health and Community*



The incumbent will assist the study Clinical Research Coordinator with
participant recruitment, participant enrollment and data collection from
patients and caregivers being seen in SFGH pediatric urgent care; enter and
maintain accurate data records; assist research personnel to keep patients
on study schedules; assure collection and shipment of samples; and attend
team meetings. The Asst. CRC may also assist with maintaining data quality;
preparation of reports.
Please Note: This is a 50% limited appointment with the end date on March
31, 2018.

JOB OVERVIEW
The Center for Health and Community (CHC) is hiring for the position of
Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator (Asst. CRC) for the Health Advocate
Study II (HAS II) based out of the pediatrics urgent care clinic at
Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH). Under the supervision of
the Clinical Research Supervisor or Principal Investigator (PI), the
individual will perform entry-level duties related to the support and
coordination of clinical studies, and may receive training and development
to prepare and advance for journey-level work at the next level within the
series.


CENTER FOR HEALTH AND COMMUNITY
The Center for Health and Community (CHC) develops and tests new strategies
for research and interventions to promote health, prevent disease, and
facilitate recovery. The CHC also provides integrated teaching of basic and
applied aspects of social and behavioral sciences, epidemiology and health
policy to students in all four professional schools.

• HS graduation and sufficient experience and demonstrated skills to
