Hi Sarah—that would be lovely, thank you! If anyone is interested in
applying, and may not be able to do so before the current deadline, they
can write to me directly and we’ll extend (kaja.jurczynska@
thepalladiumgroup.com)

Thanks very much, most appreciated!

Kaja

Hi Kaja,

Nice to hear from you, I hope you are well!

Would you like me to post this to the Berkeley Demography listserv?

Cheers,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Long time! Hope all is well.

I’m writing to share a Scope of Work for a short-term consultancy, focused
on structural equation modeling. We’d ideally like to find a candidate with
background in demography or family planning/reproductive health:
https://palladiumhr.secure.force.com/recruit/fRecruit__
ApplyJob?vacancyNo=VN3469. Some context: my colleagues and I have recently
developed an evidence-based advocacy model that allows users to simulate
the effects of family planning on various health and non-health Sustainable
Development Goals. It’s a simple model, with 12 family planning-SDG
relationships established through cross-sectional, multi-country OLS in
Stata. For 5 of the relationships, we’re finding that basic OLS is not the
right fit—lots of mediation, and the “distal” drivers are obscuring some of
the more direct relationships. We’d like to instead employ structural
equation modeling for these 5 relationships, and therefore find an expert
who specializes in this approach.

At this time, the position is closing on the 21st of September, but we are
considering extending the deadline until next week—the application process
is quite straight forward.

Any chance you know of individuals who might be well suited and interested
in this assignment?

Thanks very much,

Kaja
