-*Position Summary*

The Program Assistant for Research and Evaluation within the Camden
Coalition of Healthcare Providers (Camden Coalition) will provide support
for key research and evaluation activities to help build an evidence base
for population health initiatives. This new position will serve under the
direction of the Program Manager for Qualitative Methods, as part of the
Action Research & Evaluation team in the Strategy & Information Department.
The Program Assistant will maintain all IRB-related processes, develop
literature reviews to support research and evaluation activities,
coordinate projects within and across departments as well as with external
research partners, develop and maintain study databases, and conduct data
analysis.

*Essential Functions*

1.Carry out standard procedures for protocol submissions to the IRB and
other regulatory agencies, including protocol amendments and renewals of
ongoing studies.

2.Conduct and compile literature searches and reviews.

3.Assist with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.

4.Contribute to content development for presentations, papers, curricula,
press releases, editorials, websites, blog posts, and grant reports.

5.Create and maintain protocols for tracking data holdings, research and
evaluation projects, and external partner collaborations.

6.Maintain project plans for all research and evaluation activities.

7.Assist in relevant administrative duties, including scheduling and
conducting project meetings, and communicating with research teams,
partners, and stakeholders.

8.Complete additional actions/duties not listed above that are necessary to
the fulfillment of this role.


*Non-Essential Functions*

1.Attend relevant training as necessary to maintain professional
certification and/or knowledge.

2.Travel to attend meetings and conferences relevant to assigned projects.

3.Adhere to the Camden Coalition’s guidelines and ensure the appropriate
handling of sensitive information.

4.Work nontraditional hours based on operational needs.

5.Complete special projects specific to the function of the team/department.


*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities*

1.Strong written and oral communication skills.

2.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a team
member

3.Analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic
scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.

4.Knowledge of human subjects research protocols.

5.Experience conducting and compiling literature reviews.

6.Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods, data
collection, and data analysis.

7.Ability to work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders in an
encouraging, compassionate, and cooperative manner while ensuring that
research and evaluation projects run smoothly.

8.Demonstrate strong work ethic, be proactive in solving problems and
identifying tasks that need to be completed, and strive for excellence in
completing all assignments.

9.Ability to give and receive feedback in a professional manner.

10.Experience with a variety of common software programs including
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

11.Experience with data analysis software such Dedoose, NVivo, SPSS, or R
preferred.

12.Strong commitment to a diverse working environment and to the mission
