A newly established *Center for Dissemination and Implementation Science*
in the Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago
(UIC) invites applications and nominations for *two* tenure-eligible
open-rank faculty positions, one to serve as the Center’s Associate
Director. The Center offers exceptional opportunities to conduct
cutting-edge research in implementation science, collaborations with
multidisciplinary faculty, and close partnerships with community-based
agencies. A major strength of the Center is its active engagement with
traditionally underserved populations designed to address major health
disparities. The Center is part of a vibrant and growing Department of
Medicine in the UIC College of Medicine with well-established research in
prevention and intervention for a wide range of diseases. Faculty
collaborate across schools of public health, engineering, applied health,
dentistry, pharmacy, education, social work, and nursing.



The successful candidate(s) will demonstrate a record of extramural
funding, strong publications, collaborative research, mentoring, and
experience in implementation science. Candidates who seek to advance the
Center’s commitment to diversity in teaching, mentorship, service and
research are encouraged to apply. The following areas of focus are of
particular interest: adolescent sexual and reproductive health, HIV
prevention and treatment, mental health, and urban and global health.
National and international recognition is expected for more senior level
applicants.
